With the new CAFE regulations I wouldn't be surprised to see all the big displacement big-horsepower cars dead in 5 years.

Sad but true. There is just something about a big engine with a lumpy cam.

A force fed car just isnt the same. NA all the way.

I love these cars now, but Neal don'y get mad, I love these cars in Hardtop, they just give a presence of the old school yard bully.

I think 91 was the first year of the production Viper they were 450HP and 488CID... no creature comforts on the early models... all business. The new ones got the best of both worlds and 600HP to get them down the road. I think it was a smart move for Chrysler or Fiat??? (Just sounds stupid) to keep it... even if they only produce a few a year... it a 'Supercar" that has its own ora around it... Hey the euro guys can have all the fun. I hope the CAFE standards don't kill these things. Why can't we build super efficient cars for daily drivers and let us have our muscle for the weekends!

Last I hear also Fiat was still the fore runner on the purchase, is a shame but they say the Viper as of now will still be produced....The man can't handle his funds so the car sometime's suffers, to bad the viper might be the one, but for some funny reason I can see that car still being around, lets hope

not mad at you dave. I am 6'1 and the hard top is very tight for me. Also, I have a Z06, so I really wanted to get a drop top. Plus, when you ride in a car like that, you want people to see you
