A Few Pictures of a Viper I Got to Test Rrive...
I have a friend in Canada that has a few of his vehicle posted on my website, and he was looking to get a Viper in the states, one of the possible canidates was in Ringgold GA, about 45 minutes from my house, when he found that out he asked if I would go and look at it, test drive it, take lots of pictures and give him my opinion about it, he also had two others to choose from. One in Florida and one in Colorado. He set up the whole thing for the test drive and all, when I got there in my Z06 with my brother tagging along, they gave me the keys and said have fun....(no kidding.) it is supercharged and was said to be around 700HP, we left the dealership, and headed for the highway first, it was nice, but I liked my Z06 much better, there were clunks and squeaks and I felt very confined inside it, but the overall performance was not what I thought would be worth the $69k I think they were asking, this was about a year ago so I forget some of the specifics.
My friend did not end up getting this one, he bought a different one I will add the pictures after of that one. on to the pictures... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Next thread I will show you the one he ended up getting.

This is the one that he ended up getting...
![]() 2001 Viper GTS - This is a 1 of 37 Sapphire Blue with silver Stripes. I have 14" lightweight brakes, Roe Racing supercharger with 10# boost. Vec 2/3, Macedo Motorsports built engine with Ross forged 9-1 pistons. I ported the heads last summer. M2 air box and intake tubes. TNT headers and 1.7 rockers. I've got a .708 camshaft and tubular pushrods. Cat delete with 3" Corsa track exhaust. Fidenza alum. flywheel and 900hp clutch. Uni-trax lightweight 1000hp rear axles. skip shift eliminator. 100hp NX Nitrous kit. Eibach lowering springs. Billet VR1 lightweight wheels and Michelin PS2 tires. Premiere CD with Blue Tooth stereo, iPod and Sirius. Hertz speaker systems. Hurst short shifter. Car makes around 750rwhp and 800rwtq and then add the Nitrous. This car went 10.5@139mph on stock Pilot street tires! I have taken High Performance Driving Lessons from Jon B in this car and have logged 16,000 miles during the last two years. I have driven this car cross-continent three times! This car gets 20mpg(us) while cruising. Roe Racing supplied the aluminum hubbed 14" front brake kit. These brake rotors save 9# per wheel. The wheels save about the same amount of weight over stock. I've included a pic of all the stock rims (with BFG drag radials mounted) lined up behind my Viper. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() This guy is probably one of the biggest Mopar nuts I know, he has so many different models mopars from way back to new ones.

what are u using for the pics? We all use photobucket on here and then copy the IMG code to your post, so what do you drive? I haven't seen your vehicle yet. Also might want to check the F&Q section on size of pic and so forth, if you still have probs let me know and I could help

My 12 year old daughter tows them to car shows with her bicycle. In order to avoid any embarrassment, I wait until everybody has left to tow them back home. When an observer asks me to start it up or see the engine bay, I do my best to change the subject or come up with an excuse. There's a lot of stress involved in the professional poser lifestyle. It's not for everybody.P.S. Let me know when you want to get serious.
