Install time? Not a clue...mechanically challenged I am...lol. I don't do any of the modding. It is a team effort however and am in daily contact with the tuners/builders (about 100 miles away).

This is what interior looked like before. It's being gutted to allow for extensive rewiring for added weight loss and weight transfer. I think seats are being changed too.

Now that looks like a fun project... I can't say as I've ever seen a intake manifold like that... but I'm not a Ford guy either... what is it off of, or is it aftermarket

I just looked at the glide a little closer... is that a trans brake solenoid stickin out the back??? If not, you may have Alkida living near by... don't touch the ignition switch!!!

The intake manifold is custom by JPC racing. Justin Burcham uses it on his 8s stang.

Yes it's for the transbrake. Our previous transmission, a 4r70w also had a transbrake, but it was a 3 speed auto. Actually the glide is not the optimal choice for our present setup, but it figures into next years plans of a motor swap (more cubes) and a much larger turbo.

Pic of the Hurst shifter with the 4r70w, that had t-brake, 2step, and delay box. Had to get a new shifter to accommodate the 2 speed glide

Not really sure....sure I don't really want to know...lol. I pass on the receipts to my accountant and try not to look.

You have to have several budgets though. One for modding, one for racing at the dragstrip, one for replacing all the crap that breaks or blows up. I have a major sponsor now and it's a team effort with pooling of resources. Enables the car to go to the next level of racing, that includes no longer being used for transportation. Becomes a bit more business-oriented at this point with goals and objectives to meet.
