DETROIT – Cadillac today announced the 2011 CTS-V Coupe, which debuts at the 2010 North American International Auto Show in Detroit. It combines the new CTS Coupe’s dramatic design with the 556-horsepower (415-kW) supercharged V-8 engine from the CTS-V sedan. The result is a luxury sports coupe aimed at driving enthusiasts.

Part of my reason for getting my 2004 Cadillac CTS-V was because it was a four door sport sedan, and still had the LS6 400HP and a 6 speed stick, besides all the other nice options, Brembo brakes, etc.

My reasoning would be pretty much along those lines... A CTS would be more practical than the Vette, and a CTS-V would definitely keep the performance-oriented side of me happy.

Ayee... One day I'll have one. (And hopefully still have my Z too.)

I thought it was going to be lighter than that... the picture to me makes it look slightly smaller (shorter)... But like you said its a Cadillac... what was I thinking
