Well guys that is it, I am hoping you like what you see and can tell it was a fairly easy job. If you have any questions please feel free to drop in on me. Now I know some of you guys can do a better wiring job and bless you for that. I think it came out great other than I did not have the funds at the time to get the right colored wires. Now if I could get one of you here to do the body work, I would do the shaved job on your car, LOL Enjoy my friends and THANK YOU to all who help in anyway, this forum rocks.....David

The c6 doesn't have door pull handles. There are only pushbuttons.

What the c6 needs is remote operated doors.

The C6 should still have an actuator that operates the latching mechanism and thus in therory the same system will work on it, I will check into it and come up with an answer for you, but as far as I know it still uses the actuator to operate the latch and is still the same set-up but with maybe a little modification as far as wiring, but again will check-David

This wouldn't really apply to the C6. It'd be possible to rig up a remote system to simulate the button for the door being pushed, but I rather enjoy the fact that my car remains locked until I walk up to it. I don't have to touch my remote at all because it is based off of proximity to the receivers, and my hand has to go into the nook where the handle is anyway to be able to pull the door open. It's pretty seamless.

ok did the bodywork on the doors today, so here are the pics. We went with lexan to fill the door handle space and used a clear expoy that Chevrolet used on the Corvette Bodies(But they used black. Was the epoxy cure, the handle area was then filled with Kitty Hair and sand smooth watching the curves on the door. Once smoothed, like always there are small pin holes so ran a smooth coat of bondo over it. primed the area and used spot putty if needed then primed once more and finished and awaiting for paint.

well thats it my friends, sure someone will question my use of lexan, but again I have been doing this for 20 years and everyone comes up with techniques that others have never used, so with that See YA

The door(s) look great!

I hope as well that your mom and family is doing ok. And as well you and them are in my thoughts as also.

Get back when you have time. Family is your number one priority for sure.
