Will the Camaro lose its luster?

I have started to see a bunch of these bad boys rolling around lately

So, I pose the question

Will the Camaro become an over-produced "Mustang" type car that looks cool for 6 months before they are just EVERYWHERE?

I think it will lose some luster, but i think most cars do. I see so many C5' around that I find it hard to believe that the camaro will ever reach the same production #'s before a body style change. Oh and I think it will be a bit more scarce than the stang since it's a bit more $$$$

IT will once the roads are filled with 6cyl ones. Not that there is anything wrong with the 300+ hp version, but just like the mustang, the more you see, the less the shine.

It is loosing its luster allready due to the hype before it was even released. Transformers did not help this car out at all either.

When I see them on the road I just cant believe how huge they are, at least they dont look like a 4X4 like the Challenger does when I pass them in my Vette.

I agree, they are portly but they are stylish as well. If they come out with a supercharged model like the ZR1, I would consider making a purchase!

I tried to get my wife to trade the Sky for the Camaro but this is what she is afraid of. She likes her car because you don't see them around every corner and it's a matter of time before the Camaros are like that.

My wife loved it, made me go out to get one, and then she saw one in person. That saved me a lot of money. She's keeping her RetroBird instead...

I would love to have a new Camaro SS, but there's no way I would even think about giving up my Z for it. Every time I see the new Camaro in person though, I can't help but think about how big the car looks.

I then heard an SS with a moderately-loud exhaust outside of a local electronics store. That thing sounded sweet...
